A talented and Emmy-winning performer, Bauza became a familiar voice to millions, embodying a vast array of animated personalities. His most prominent roles were undoubtedly those within the cherished Looney Tunes universe, where he took on the challenging task of voicing iconic characters such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. This placed him directly in the lineage of the legendary Mel Blanc, a responsibility Bauza reportedly cherished deeply.

Beyond the two headliners, Bauza's versatility shone through in his portrayals of many other beloved Looney Tunes characters. His credits included Tweety, Foghorn Leghorn, Pepé Le Pew, Porky Pig, Road Runner, Elmer Fudd, and Marvin the Martian. Fans recently heard his work in many of these roles in this year's much-anticipated Coyote vs. Acme film, showcasing his continued dedication to the franchise.

His career, however, extended far beyond Warner Bros. Animation. Bauza's impressive vocal range allowed him to tackle diverse roles across numerous animated productions. He lent his voice to characters like Stimpy, an animated version of Luke Skywalker, Puss in Boots, Bam-Bam Rubble, Donatello and Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, an animated Jason Bourne, Robert “Big Bob” Belcher, Woody Woodpecker, Two-Face, Jimmy Olsen, and Aquaman, demonstrating his remarkable ability to inhabit vastly different personalities.

Channing Dungey, Chairman of Warner Bros. Television Group and US Networks, praised Bauza's impact. In a statement, Dungey said, "Eric Bauza was a unique voice talent who brought joy and laughter to millions around the world." She added that Bauza "followed in the footsteps of giants like Mel Blanc." During his 15 years with Warner Bros. Animation, Bauza's dedication was evident. Dungey also shared Bauza's own perspective on his work, noting that he often said "carrying on the legendary legacy of the Looney Tunes was among the greatest honors of his life." He was described as a treasured part of the animation family, and his passing leaves a significant void in the industry.
