Heo Group has officially unveiled "Squaroes - Star Trek: The Next Generation," a new series of Ultimate Guard collectible deck boxes scheduled to hit stores on October 13, 2026. This release is strategically aligned with the upcoming Magic: The Gathering Star Trek set, with the deck boxes designed to comfortably house cards from the new collection. This isn't Heo Group's inaugural venture into Star Trek merchandise, as they previously launched a similar product line inspired by the original series in 2025.

The collection will feature prominent characters from The Next Generation, including Captain Picard, Data, William Riker, Geordi La Forge, Worf, Deanna Troi, Dr. Beverley Crusher, Locutus, and a Borg Drone. The Borg Drone variant is expected to be the rarest and most challenging to acquire.

In addition to the individual deck boxes, Heo Group is also set to release a "Collectors Case 800+ - Borg Cube." True to its name, this substantial case is capable of storing over 800 double-sleeved cards, providing an ideal storage solution for collectors' most valuable Magic: The Gathering assets.

The Magic: The Gathering Star Trek set itself is generating considerable excitement, largely due to its unprecedented inclusion of signature cards hand-signed by the actors who portrayed the characters. This marks a historic first for Magic: The Gathering, which has traditionally featured only artist-signed cards. These actor-signed cards are slated to be highly limited, with only 250 available for each character, a scarcity that is sure to significantly boost their collector's value.
