As reported by Ecranlarge.com, the recently released trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 confirms that the Disney+ series is set to adapt The Titan's Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan's beloved series. This marks a significant milestone for fans, as this particular installment has never before received a screen adaptation, unlike its predecessors, The Lightning Thief and The Sea of Monsters, which were previously adapted into feature films starring Logan Lerman.

The trailer hints at a more mature and intense narrative, reflecting the darker themes and higher stakes present in The Titan's Curse. The visuals showcase a shift in color palette, with a noticeable emphasis on nighttime scenes, suggesting a bleaker, more somber atmosphere. This aligns with the book's winter setting and its narrative trajectory, which sees Percy and his friends grappling with increasingly complex and dangerous challenges.

Returning to lead the charge is Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, who, alongside his companions, appears to have grown both in age and in the scope of their adventures. The action sequences teased in the trailer also suggest a considerable upgrade in scale, promising more formidable adversaries and grander mythological confrontations. One previous teaser had shown Percy facing a giant, and the new trailer provides a more comprehensive look at these epic encounters.

Season 3 also introduces several key characters from the Percy Jackson lore. Dafne Keen, known for her role as X-23 in Logan, joins the cast as the formidable goddess Artemis. Also making his debut is Levi Chrisopulos, stepping into the shoes of the fan-favorite character Nico di Angelo. Perhaps most notably, Holt McCallany, recognized for his work in Mindhunter, will portray Atlas, the mighty Titan and central antagonist of the season, who harbors a vengeful plot against Zeus and the Olympian gods.

With its commitment to adapting the source material faithfully and its expanded scope, Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 is poised to immerse viewers deeper into Riordan's richly imagined world. The new season is slated to debut on Disney+ on November 20, 2026.
