The sneak peek, first reported by Deadline, showcases Statham's signature blend of intense combat and witty one-liners. Set to the driving rhythm of Metallica's "For Whom the Bell Tolls," the footage highlights Clay's relentless pursuit against a rogue faction of the "Beekeepers" — the very clandestine group that once trained him.
This time, the stakes are higher, with the organization turning its sights on controlling the government. This dramatic shift forces Clay out of retirement to clear his name and protect the President of the United States, confronting the very forces that shaped him.
Timo Tjahjanto directs the upcoming action thriller, with a script penned by Kurt Wimmer and Zak Penn. Statham is joined by an impressive ensemble cast, including Pom Klementieff, Jemma Redgrave, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Adam Copeland, Bobby Naderi, Yara Shahidi, and veteran actor Jeremy Irons, adding significant depth to the roster.
Beyond his starring role, Statham also serves as a producer alongside Chris Long and Kurt Wimmer. Jonathan Glickman, Thom Zadra, Alexandra Loewy, Rachael Cole, and David Ayer are on board as executive producers, with Anthony M. Scott, Spencer Ela, and Asa Sims as co-producers.
'The Beekeeper 2' is scheduled to hit theaters on January 15, 2027, promising another adrenaline-fueled chapter in Adam Clay's saga.
