Brad Pitt is stepping back into the shoes of Cliff Booth, the laid-back yet dangerous stunt double, for a new Netflix feature titled The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth. The streaming giant has just released a series of first-look images, building excitement for the film's upcoming global IMAX run on November 25, followed by its streaming debut on Netflix on December 23.

This sequel to Quentin Tarantino's Oscar-winning Once Upon a Time in Hollywood sees Booth navigating the changing landscape of 1977, eight years after the events of the original film. While Tarantino penned the script, he opted not to direct, with acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher taking the helm. Tarantino explained his decision on the Church of Tarantino podcast last year, stating, "I love this script, but I’m still walking down the same ground I’ve already walked. It just kind of unenthused me." Pitt also serves as a producer alongside Ceán Chaffin.

The newly released stills, first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, showcase Pitt's character in a variety of action-packed and intriguing scenarios. One image captures Booth sporting goggles, intensely maneuvering a derby car on a dirt track, hinting at the film's adventurous tone. Other shots reveal him in more conversational settings, including a scene at a bar with co-star Elizabeth Debicki, and another on a tennis court alongside Debicki, Scott Caan, and Carla Gugino. These glimpses suggest a blend of high-octane sequences and character-driven interactions.

Joining Pitt, Debicki, Caan, and Gugino in the ensemble cast are Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, and Karren Karagulian. The film promises to delve deeper into Booth's psyche as he confronts a new era of Hollywood, a theme teased in a recent trailer where Pitt's character ominously states, "Let’s just say I know what it’s like to kill someone with a knife."

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was a critical and commercial success, grossing $377 million worldwide and earning two Academy Awards, including Pitt's first-ever acting Oscar. It also notably propelled the careers of several supporting actors, such as Mikey Madison, Austin Butler, Sydney Sweeney, and Margaret Qualley. The return of Cliff Booth under Fincher's direction, with Tarantino's script, marks a highly anticipated continuation of a beloved story.
