As production for the fifth and final season of the HBO and BBC co-production 'Industry' gets underway in the U.K., fans can look forward to seeing new faces among the high-stakes world of finance. Award-winning actor Ben Platt and veteran performer Russell Tovey are set to appear in guest roles, bolstering an already impressive lineup.

Ben Platt, known for his work in 'The Beauty' and 'Dear Evan Hansen,' will portray Matt Crenshaw, a venture capitalist who was an early investor in a wellness tech company. This role is expected to intertwine with characters played by Zosia Mamet and Dianna Agron, whose own character descriptions also hint at involvement with a similar wellness technology venture.

Russell Tovey, recognized for his performances in 'Years and Years' and 'Feud: Capote vs. the Swans,' will take on the role of Declan P. Davis, an aide to the left-wing politician Nikesh Shah, played by Bally Gill. Other new talents joining 'Industry' for its concluding season include Cary Elwes, Sam Riley, Jessica Brown Findlay, Luke Manley, and Eduard Poliakov.

The fourth season of 'Industry' left many characters facing significant professional and personal upheavals. The returning cast from season four features Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Kit Harington, Ken Leung, Max Minghella, Miriam Petche, Sagar Radia, Toheeb Jimoh, Charlie Heaton, Amy James-Kelly, Roger Barclay, Andrew Havill, Kiernan Shipka, Kal Penn, Jack Farthing, Stephen Campbell Moore, Claire Forlani, and Edward Holcroft.

'Industry' was created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, who also serve as writers and directors for the series. They executive produce alongside Jane Tranter, Kate Crowther, and Ryan Rasmussen for Bad Wolf, Kathleen McCaffrey for Little Gems, and Rebecca Ferguson for the BBC.
