As reported by Deadline, Shantel VanSanten will reprise her role as Nina Chase in the seventh episode of FBI Season 9, titled "Posterity." This marks another exciting return for the character, who has a significant history with the show and its audience.
Nina Chase was initially a series regular on FBI, becoming a fan favorite for her sharp investigative skills and her evolving relationship with fellow agent Stuart Scola. Her tenure as a regular concluded in the sixth episode of Season 5, "Double Bind." However, the character's story was far from over. VanSanten later returned in the February 23rd episode of Season 8, "Confetti," a pivotal moment where Nina and Scola officially tied the knot in a private City Hall ceremony, accompanied by their son, Dougie, and close family members.
This upcoming appearance in "Posterity" will see Nina back in action alongside the New York field office team. The episode's plot centers on the murder of an online influencer, which leads the agents to discover that a camera captured footage of a criminal on the Most Wanted list. Nina Chase will join the team's efforts to intercept this high-profile suspect before they can evade capture.
The episode, "Posterity," is scheduled to air on Monday, November 16, from 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT. It was penned by Jake Tinker and directed by Milena Govich. The series continues to follow the dedicated work of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's criminal division in New York, as they strive to maintain the safety and security of the city and the nation.
The main cast of FBI includes Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Alana De La Garza, and Juliana Aidén Martinez, who will all be part of the ongoing investigations.
