Peter Krause, a familiar face on television since the 1990s with notable roles in Sports Night, Six Feet Under, and Parenthood, recently concluded his tenure on the popular ABC procedural 9-1-1. His character, Bobby Nash, met an emotional end in Season 8's 15th episode, "Lab Rats," during a tragic lab accident.

While his time on 9-1-1 has ended, Krause is not stepping away from the small screen for long. He is set to lead the cast of NBC's new drama, Line of Fire, which is slated to premiere later this month. The series centers on the Hollingsworths, a family deeply entrenched in law enforcement, with members serving across various U.S. government agencies, including the FBI, U.S. Marshals, Secret Service, and the Department of Justice.

Krause portrays Mike, the patriarch of the Hollingsworth family, alongside Hope Davis, who plays his wife Jane. Their three children, Russ (Taylor Bloom), Clare (Kat Cunning), and Micah (Tommy O'Brien), are also part of this crime-fighting lineage. The demanding nature of their professions has strained family relationships, but they are forced to confront their differences when a significant threat emerges. The Hollingsworths find themselves entangled in a deadly conspiracy, compelling them to leverage their collective expertise to protect one another and bring a killer to justice, even if it means challenging their sworn professional codes. Charlie Barnett also features in the series.

Line of Fire is created and written by Joshua Safran, known for his work on the Priyanka Chopra Jonas-led thriller Quantico. The series will make its debut on NBC on Monday, September 21, at 10 pm ET, with episodes available for streaming on Peacock the following day.
