Season one introduced viewers to Helen Webb, or Daisy Bradshaw as she's known in the shadowy world of the private espionage organization Black Doves. Her carefully constructed life as the wife of the UK's Secretary of Defense unravels following the murder of her former lover, an MI5 agent. Tasked with extracting confidential information from her husband, Helen unexpectedly fell in love, complicating her mission. With the help of her old friend and professional cleaner, Sam Young (Ben Whishaw), Helen navigated a dangerous international criminal conspiracy, ultimately choosing to protect her family.

Now, as revealed in the new trailer, the dangers intensify. According to a report from Ecranlarge.com, Wallace, a key figure from the first season, has ascended to the role of Prime Minister, placing Helen in an even more precarious position. The Black Doves organization itself appears to be under threat, with two agents murdered in a single month. Helen's enigmatic handler, Mrs. Reed (Sarah Lancashire), finds herself entangled in a conspiracy that could dismantle the Black Doves and, critically, expose Helen's true identity.

The second season will also introduce new faces to the clandestine world.
