"Fandom does not speak with a single voice," Russo noted, highlighting the diverse range of opinions regarding character interpretations and story directions. Despite the inherent respect for these characters' established journeys, the Russo brothers believe in the necessity of creative evolution. "We need to surprise ourselves in terms of who those characters are, where they can go, what they can do, what can happen," he stated, underscoring the goal to keep the storytelling vibrant and unpredictable.
