French actor Husky Kihal, a familiar face to television audiences, passed away on September 3, 2026, at the age of 64. Born in Lyon in 1961, Kihal built a career away from the glaring spotlight, accumulating over 55 film and television credits in supporting roles since the late 1990s.

His agent, Sophie Lemaitre, shared the news on social media, stating that the actor was found at his home and the cause of death is not yet known. In a heartfelt message, Lemaitre paid tribute to "a wonderful actor and a most precious friend. Husky loved life. You will leave an immense void, my Kiki," she wrote on Instagram. "Thank you for these wonderful moments with you; you brought me so much joy, laughter, so much happiness. I will miss you so much, as will all those who had the pleasure of knowing you. Kihal was perhaps best known to the general public for his memorable portrayal of Henri Fournier, the forensic doctor, in France 2's successful crime series, Astrid et Raphaëlle. Since its debut in 2019, this role allowed him to truly shine. Initially reserved, his character developed a compelling professional rapport with the lead investigator, captivated by her sharp intellect, and evolved into a crucial ally for the team over the seasons.
